The gasket between each exhaust manifold and its cylinder head. The truck takes one per bank, so the quantity above is the pair, and there is no sensible way to do one side only once the studs are out — they are the cheapest thing in the job and the only thing standing between you and doing it again. Cracked manifolds are a known Gen 3 problem, which means most people meeting this gasket are meeting it during a manifold replacement rather than because the gasket itself failed. The catalogue lists further OEM interchange numbers alongside this one; none of them has a page here yet, so let the parts counter cross-reference rather than insisting on a single number. The number, the fitment and the count come from the Montero specialist's own catalogue page, cited below — a parts catalogue is good evidence for what a part number is and what it fits, and it is not factory literature, so read every figure on this page as the catalogue's claim rather than as a service-manual specification.
