The hydraulic tensioner that holds the timing belt tight. It is the part that decides whether a good belt stays a good belt: when the tensioner leaks down, the belt goes slack, and on an interference engine a belt that jumps teeth ends the engine rather than stranding you. Nobody who has the front of this engine apart should put the old tensioner back — the specialist who assembles the kit for this generation lists it with the belt, the idler and the water pump as things that come out together and go back together, and the access is the expensive half of the job. The number, the fitment and the count come from the Montero specialist's own catalogue page, cited below — a parts catalogue is good evidence for what a part number is and what it fits, and it is not factory literature, so read every figure on this page as the catalogue's claim rather than as a service-manual specification.
